Treatment

  1. ABCs; consider airway if Guillain-Barre' possible with respiratory compromise
  2. Consider IV for access or lab draws
  3. CT scan
  4. If CT normal, obtain LP
  5. Peds or peds neuro consult

Disposition

  1. Consider admission if any question of Dx or risk of progression
  2. Consider discharge with follow-up with primary care MD in 1 d if pt stable & labs normal
